Test Certificate

A test certificate allows you to use KSeF in the Test environment without the need for a qualified electronic seal.

How to Generate​

  1. Go to the Certificates section in the side menu.
  2. Click the Generate Test Certificate button.
  3. Wait a few seconds — the certificate will be automatically generated and saved.

The test certificate is generated directly within the application. It does not require any external files.

What is Generated​

  • Certificate — an X.509 file containing your company data (Tax ID/NIP).
  • Private Key — an encrypted RSA key.

Limitations​

  • The test certificate works exclusively in the Test and Demo environments.
  • It cannot be used for authorization in the Production environment.
  • The certificate has an expiration date — once it expires, you must generate a new one.

Downloading Files​

After generation, you can download the certificate and private key by clicking the corresponding options in the context menu (â‹®) next to the certificate.
